ColwynBID is the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information. This may include name, business address, email, phone number.

Analytics & Log Files
The data stored for counting visitors to the site is anonymised, and does not contain any personal information.
Server logs including IP address are stored for security purposes to prevent malicious action against this site.
Who we share your data with
We don’t share data with any third parties for marketing purposes. However, we do utilise a number of secure, GDPR-compliant third-party systems as detailed below.

• MailChimp, used for sending marketing emails to opted-in users – Privacy
Data is also used to enable us to provide the services outlined in the ColwynBID business plan.

The Information we collect
Contact forms can include name, email, telephone number, and nature of the enquiry. We use this data to provide requested services and feedback on your requirements. This data is not used for marketing purposes and will be held for no longer than 12 months.

Data breach procedures
Data breaches are handled in compliance with GDPR. Any incident resulting in personally identifiable information being breached will be reported to both the ICO and any clients affected without delay and within 72 hours.
We have drastically minimised the amount of data we hold, and store no data that would be considered sensitive i.e. payment information. We mainly work in a B2B capacity and, as such, most of the data we hold is of the non-sensitive nature and, in most cases, freely available on the client’s website. However, we take all applicable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data.
